SEARCH Day Program, Inc.

SEARCH Day Program is open to students 3 - 21 with a primary diagnosis of autism. Applications are accepted throughout the school year. We use a team approach to find an appropriate educational match. The team consists of our in-take coordinator, principal, classroom teacher, parent and district case manager. Students are admitted through a referral from their public school child study team. Upon review of a student's packet, a tour is scheduled for the parent and district case manager. If the team feels that SEARCH Day Program meets the student's individual needs, a screening is scheduled for the student to determine placement.

"When I saw the children in the school, I did not see     children with disabilities - I saw happy children,         children singing, children listening and teachers           having fun teaching. I instantly felt the genuine           warmth that is rare in many organizations..."             ~Parent
