Adult Activities Center
SEARCH Day Program's Adult Activities Center provides work experience via contracts from industry as well as off-campus employment opportunities. Each adult is provided with the opportunity to develop personal, social and work skills so that he/she may lead a more independent and productive life. In order to create an effective program for our clients, the following components are implemented: practical arts, habilitation, personal awareness, leisure skills, community based employment, in-house employment and communication. If needed, a positive behavioral support plan is implemented to address behavioral concerns but only after thorough collaboration with direct care staff, family members or guardians  and the Division of Developmental Disabilities.

In order to be eligible for this program, a potential client must be 21 years of age or older, a primary diagnosis of autism must be given and a referral by the Division of Developmental Disabilities is required.
